Cary-Grove d. Dundee-Crown: The Trojans (16-1, 5-0) cruised to an easy 25-9, 25-14 Fox Valley (Valley) victory on the road against the Chargers (7-12, 0-5). Kelly Lamberti (6 kills, 3 aces) and Kayla Klinger (5 kills, 6 digs) paced the Trojan offense while Colleen Smith added 3 aces. The Chargers were led by Alyssa Sarrazine and Alexis Holm, who recorded 3 kills a piece. Lindsay Mosher added 7 assists on the night.
Crystal Lake South d. McHenry: The Gators (12-1, 3-1) continue to roll as they defeated Fox Valley (Valley) opponent McHenry 25-18, 25-23 on the road. Caitlin Schumacher led the defensive efforts with 11 digs. Chelsea Sirovatka registered 15 assists while Brittney Atkinson added a team-high 6 kills.
Burlington Central d. Richmond-Burton: The Rockets (13-5, 4-0) rolled to a 25-8, 25-12 Big Northern East victory over Richmond-Burton at home. Burlington Central, which travels to Hampshire tonight, continued to serve well as the Rockets recorded 15 aces as a team. Stephanie Holthus (9 kills, 7 aces, 6 digs) and Taylor Scully (4 kills, 3 aces, 8 digs) contributed to the Rockets' victory while Kaitlyn O'Reilly led the offense with 15 assists and 2 aces.
Bartlett d. Neuqua Valley: The Hawks pulled out a thrilling 25-18, 13-25, 25-22 Upstate Eight Conference victory at home over Neuqua Valley. Carly Sahagian recorded a team-high 18 kills to go along with 3 aces and 8 digs. Alyssa Cazzato paced the Hawks offensively with 21 assists while adding 5 digs. Jacki Gulczynski (4 kills) and Lauren Hartford (4 aces) each played a big role at the net recording 5 and 6 blocks respectively.
St. Charles North d. Streamwood: The Sabres fell 25-15, 25-8 in Upstate Eight Conference play to St. Charles North on the road. Julissa Alvarez and Paige Donnovan paced Streamwood's offense with 3 and 1 kills respectively.
