Learn about nine career programs offered at CLC

Careers in nine fields, ranging from dental hygiene to truck driving, will be the focus of information sessions being offered at the College of Lake County in February.

Each session lasts about an hour and includes an overview of duties, a typical day, salary, job outlook and educational requirements. No RSVP is required.

Unless noted otherwise, the sessions will take place at the Grayslake Campus, 19351 W. Washington St. in Grayslake.

• Medical Imaging: Noon Monday, Feb. 4

• Surgical Technology: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5

• Engineering Transfer: 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, in the Baxter Innovation Lab

• Dental Hygiene: noon, Wednesday, Feb. 6, Dental Materials Lab N135, at the Lakeshore Campus, 111 N. Genesee St., Waukegan

• Nursing: 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, Room A013

• Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13

• Health Information Technology: 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, Room A132

• Nursing: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, Room A013

• Truck Driver: 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, Room E121
