Advocate Condell offers free heart health lectures, screenings
Advocate Condell Medical Center is offering community education lectures and screenings on a wide range of heart health issues in February, which is American Heart Month.
All programs are free, but registration is required. Participants will interact with clinicians and receive information on hospital and other health services.

Know Your Numbers screening
Monday, Feb. 11, 7-11 am, Gurnee Centre Club, 1405 Hunt Club Drive in Gurnee. Assess your current health “numbers” for blood pressure, HDL, LDL, triglycerides and total cholesterol, glucose, and BMI. Pulmonary Hypertension: Signs, Symptoms and Treatments
Monday, Feb. 25, 6:30 pm, Advocate Condell Medical Center Conference Center, 801 S. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. If you have a case of fatigue you just cannot shake, you might want to talk to your physician about pulmonary hypertension. Pulmonary HTN can be difficult to diagnose, and treatment can be complex. Women's Heart Health
Thursday, Feb. 28, 6-7 pm at Oak Hill Supportive Living Community, 76 E. Rollins Road in Round Lake Beach. Women and men are not created equal when it comes to warning signs of heart trouble. Know what to look for and when to seek help, and learn about latest treatments. Presented by Roger Hecker, MD, AMG, Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
