Submissions Sought for Spring Prairie Light Review

Prairie Light Review, a juried magazine produced twice per year by students editors enrolled in English 2210 at College of DuPage, is currently accepting submissions from College and community members for its Spring 2012 edition.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, Feb. 8. Submissions may include written and visual art and may be dropped off at the Prairie Light Review Office in the Student Services Center, Room 3251, on the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

To evaluate submissions, student editors participate in blind readings of poetry and prose on a variety of themes in various forms, as well as blind viewings of many types of artwork in various mediums, including drawings, paintings, collages, sculptures, jewelry and graphic designs.

PLR provides a venue for creative work produced by students, staff, faculty and members of the District 502 community. The magazine has been published for more than 20 years and is funded by Student Activities fees.
