Advocate Condell Gala raises $175,000 for Cancer Care Services

The Auxiliary of Advocate Condell Medical Center raised $175,000 for Cancer Care Services at the hospital with its Gala 2011, Viva La Noche.

Drawing a crowd of 250, the event was held Oct. 15 at Ravinia in Highland Park. The evening featured cocktails, a gourmet dinner, live auction, raffle for iPad 2 and entertainment provided by the Bandoleros.

Cancer Care Services at Advocate Condell Medical Center offer our patients a compassionate and multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis, treatment and recovery. By providing a range of education and support services, the hospital can better meet the varied needs of cancer patients and their families. Gifts to Gala 2011 will help Advocate Condell fund a new nurse navigator program, enhance our community education and outreach and provide additional spiritual and social services for patients, survivors and their families.

In previous years, funds have gone to support the hospital's Heart and Vascular Center.
