Annual health fair Sept. 17 at Advocate Good Shepherd

Taking care of your health is important. That's why Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital provides comprehensive wellness services close to home. Join us from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 17, for the third annual health event.

The morning will be filled with free health screenings, raffles, giveaways and more, including blood pressure, body mass index, cardiac screenings, complete lipid panel (cholesterol & diabetes - 12 hour fast required-finger stick), diabetes screening and education, flu shots $25 (free to Medicare patients), foot screenings, heart age assessment, and prostate cancer screenings for men 45 and older only (Includes a digital rectal exam and blood draw)

*In recognition of prostate awareness month, we are now offering free

prostate cancer screenings provided by an Advocate physician.

It will be held at the Advocate Good Shepherd Outpatient Center. 525 Congress Parkway, Crystal Lake (across from the Pingree Road Metra Station).
