Megan Shannon’s 3-run walkoff home run with one out in the bottom of the seventh, her second homer of the game, powered Glenbard East past No. 17 Wheaton North 4-2 in softball action Monday in Lombard.
Paige Wilson doubled and scored in a 2-run fifth for Wheaton North (9-5, 3-1 DuPage Valley Conference), which dropped a game behind West Chicago in the loss column with Naperville Central and Glenbard North.
