Kokenis leads Hinsdale Central to win

Hinsdale Central 70, Oak Park 52: Toni Kokenis poured in 25 points and Adabelle Ekechukwu 20 as the No. 15 Red Devils (19-9, 11-1 West Suburban Silver) wrapped up at least a share of their fourth straight conference title. Hinsdale Central, which hosts Fenwick today, led 24-7 after a quarter and 42-15 at half.

Waubonsie Valley 63, East Aurora 34: Tami Morice and Becky Williford each scored 16 points to pace the No. 5 Warriors (23-2, 10-0 Upstate Eight Conference). UEC champ Waubonsie trailed 11-9 after a quarter, then outscored East Aurora 43-13 over the next two periods.

Lake Park 50, Neuqua Valley 39: Sarah Drozdowski scored 20 points for the Lancers (16-11, 7-3), who won their fourth straight game to finish tied for second in the Upstate Eight. Carly Willert added 10 points. Jackie Geffinger's 12 points paced Neuqua (9-16, 5-5).

DeKalb 48, Glenbard South 46: Patrice Hicks powered in 14 points for the Raiders (16-11, 10-4 Western Sun Conference) in a close loss at DeKalb.
