The Trojans were led by Brandon Coleman with 14 points, while Matt Nelsen (11 points) and Chad McCarron (10 points) each added double-digit offense. "We had our chances. We had a chance to tie it," said Cary-Grove Coach Ralph Schuetzle. "They made their free throws. Offensive rebounds killed us."

At DeKalb: Dominating for four quarters, Huntley (6-3) topped Chicago Military 75-25 led offensively by Zac Boster (13 points) and Brett DePorter (10 points)...Burlington Central (4-4) took a tough loss to Chicago Vocational 71-34 during tournament action Monday. Shane Larkin led the Rockets with 10 points. Right behind were Matt McCurdy (9 points) and Mark Mastio (8 points).
