Forest preserve district offers 'Woodland Painting' class

Unleash your inner artist and create beautiful nature art from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 27, at the Barbara Belding Lodge in St. Charles.

The Forest Preserve District of Kane County will host this painting class. Instructor Juliya Jensen from JJ's Crafty Creations will guide you step-by-step in painting a nature-themed work of art.

You don't need a background in painting for this fun class! Each participant will go home with their creation.

This class is for those age 16 and older. Advance registration is required. The registration fee is $35 per person. Call (630) 444-3190 or email programs@kaneforest.com to register.

The Barbara Belding Lodge is located within Brewster Creek Forest Preserve at 6N921 Route 25, St. Charles.
