St. Catherine of Siena to celebrate milestone anniversaries

On Saturday, May 26, St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in West Dundee invites parish members and friends to attend a reception in the church's McKinstra Room after the 4:30 p.m. Mass to congratulate pastor Rev. Matthew M. DeBlock and parochial vicar Rev. John Gow on the 10th anniversary of their ordinations to the priesthood.

Both Reverends DeBlock and Gow recently gathered with other priests from the Diocese of Rockford at St. Rita parish in Rockford on May 1 to celebrate their priesthoods and milestone anniversaries with a Mass celebrated with Bishop David Malloy and a luncheon reception.

Each is a native of the Fox Valley area. Rev. DeBlock is from Batavia, with his home parish of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia. Rev. Gow is from Hampshire, with his home parish of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Hampshire.
