Join town hall on environment July 10

On Monday, July 10, join a town hall featuring discussions on the effects of climate change and global warming from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Arcada Theatre, 105 E. Main St. in St. Charles. It will be hosted by Women In Action for Progress.

Practical strategies and solutions for the problems will be offered.

Chris Kennedy, candidate for governor, will speak on the environment and jobs.

Karen Hudson, co-founder of Illinois Citizens for Clean Air & Water, will speak on factory farms.

Mary Shesgreen of Fox Valley Citizens for Peace and Justice will speak on "Illinois Oil Pipelines & Income Inequality."

Debbie Dudek of Elgin Green Groups 350+ will discuss "Growing Local Food."

A question-and-answer period will follow.
