The recently-closed Bangkok Cafe at 17 N. Vail Ave., in Arlington Heights is proposed to become Eric Lamkins’ nano brewery, where the bearded home brewer will craft small batches of his favorite suds.

Woman struck, killed by Metra train in Bartlett

Authorities are investigating the death of an adult woman fatally struck by a Metra train early Thursday morning in Bartlett. The collision occurred at the grade crossing just before the station where the train was scheduled to arrive at 5:02 a.m., Metra officials said.
