Bartlett police issue traffic advisory for Memorial Day Walk

The Bartlett Police Department will be providing traffic control assistance along North Avenue between North Eastern Avenue and Oliver Street for Monday’s Memorial Day Walk.

Motorists in this area may encounter minor traffic delays.

The Memorial Day Walk & Remembrance will kick off at 10 a.m. Monday at Bartlett Park with an American Legion flag retirement ceremony.

Following this, at 11 a.m., veterans, scouts, civic groups, bagpipers, and other participants will begin walking from North Eastern Avenue and North Avenue to the Bartlett Cemetery.

Around 11:30 a.m., the Memorial Day Remembrance will commence at the Bartlett Cemetery with the posting of the colors and an invocation. The event will conclude with a 21-gun salute and the playing of Taps.
