NARFE hosts holiday party Dec. 9

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees, Greater Fox Valley Chapter 2181 will celebrate its annual Holiday Luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at the Grand Victoria restaurant, 250 S. Grove Ave. in Elgin.

The Indulge Kitchen Buffet opens at 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $16.23 for seniors and $18.40 for adults; pricing includes all beverages and tax. Alcoholic drinks are paid separately. Valet parking is free.

Susan Mackey, co-program chair, is selling raffle tickets as a fundraiser for Alzheimer's research.

The winning ticket will be drawn at the annual luncheon. Tickets have been offered for sale monthly since June 2014.

The raffle tickets are priced at five for $5. They are hoping to exceed the goal from last year.
