Over the seven years NIFF has screened over 1000 entries. And this year with over 125 films entered only 43 will make the big screen. Each night there will be a 7:00pm and a 9:00pm show, and during the showing we'll have at least one and usually a few short films followed by a feature length film.

Tickets can be purchased at the door and on AMC's online ticketing website. Tickets will admit one to one of either the 7 or 9 pm showings. Also passes and packages allow filmgoers the best access to films, panels, parties, and more. Browse through our show times and selections for the 2014 Naperville Independent Film Festival at http://www.naperfilmfest.org/Showtimes.

Along with AMC Showplace, NIFF will be showing films at Smith Hall on the North Central College Campus, a collaborator and friend of the Festival since its start in 2007, will host the winners of the ECU, the European Film Festival. Tickets are $5 per show and are purchased with cash at the door.

The Naperville Independent Film Festival is pleased to announce its list of the best of 2014 at http://www.naperfilmfest.org/Home/and-the-nominees-are-200. The nominees were selected by a panel of twelve judges lead by Al Eisley, who's been involved in numerous film festivals besides our own. The judges each viewed the entries and scored them for technical and storytelling merits; then the scores were tabulated to determine the nominees and the best of each category.

The nominees in each category, Best Documentary, Best Feature, Best Director, Best Short, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Animation-- someone will take home the beautiful NIFF trophy. Trophy winners will be announced at the Gala Awards show on Saturday, September 20th held at Center Stage Theater off of Quincy Street in Naperville. Gala Awards show tickets can be purchased online at www.naperfilmfest.org.

NIFF was the brainchild of Edmond and Glessna Coisson, who early in 2007 joined with Gary Pradel and Daniel Nigg to form the Founders and launch the inaugural Film Fesitval in September 2008. Flm Festival organizers are thankful for the many volunteers who are all contributing to make the event a success. Read about our founders and volunteers: http://www.naperfilmfest.org/About-Us/Festival-Team.

The 7th Annual Naperville Independent Film Festival will take place September 13th-20th, 2014.

See you at the movies!
