Classic neon signs light up Gallery Talk July 25

As part of its first-ever one-man exhibition, "The Wine of Life," now extended through Aug. 30, the Norris Gallery is hosting a series of Friday evening gallery talks with artist Nick Freeman.

On Friday, July 25 at 7 p.m., Freeman will present "Good Old Neon", showcasing his photographs of classic neon signs around Chicagoland and discussing their history and enduring appeal.

Originally set to close July 5, the exhibition of the St. Charles artist's paintings and photography has received a positive response from visitors. As a result, the show has been extended through Aug. 30 and the gala fundraising auction event will be held on Friday, Aug. 15.

The Norris Gallery is located at 1040 Dunham Road in St. Charles. Regular hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Admission to this event is free and includes refreshments and live music. More information is available at norrisculturalarts.com.
