COD Library receives grant to purchase Cyber Security Resources

The College of DuPage Library recently received a $5,000 federal Library Services Technology Act grant to purchase cyber security resources.

"This funding allows the Library to purchase a number of new materials that will be accessible to College of DuPage students, community members and through the state inter-library loan system," said Dan Blewett, reference librarian.

Resources largely will be academic in nature, but Library officials are seeking input from COD faculty and community members on what titles ultimately will be purchased, he said.

"This is a great opportunity for us to provide more resources in this growing field," Blewett said.
