Metro West Council of Government to hold 2013 legislative session review

The Metro West Council of Government will hold its Legislative BBQ and Session Review at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at Elburn Lions Community Park, 500 Filmore St., Elburn.
Steve Morrill and Curt Fiedler of Morrill & Associates will provide an overview of the results from this year’s legislative session and how they affect municipalities. They also will highlight any issues that will call for the council’s continued efforts.
The recipient of the 2013 Metro West Legislator of the Year Award will also be announced at this event.
The cost is $28 for members and business partners or $33 for nonmembers. For information, call (630) 859-1331.
