MCC offers training to be a private investigator

If you possess honesty, a curious mind and a flair for solving problems, consider a career as a private investigator and enroll in a summer training program offered by McHenry County College. The next Introduction to Private Investigation class is from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, June 13-Aug. 8 at MCC. Room to be announced.

Taught by a working licensed private detective, participants will learn how to locate lost loved ones, investigate fraud, interview witnesses to cases and how to work in an undercover operation.

This class fulfills the training requirements mandated by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for obtaining the Permanent Employee Registration Card. The PERC is necessary for anyone interested in pursuing this exciting, challenging profession. All course materials are included in the course fee of $209.
