Crystal Lake Toastmaster Joan Walton earns the Distinguished Toastmaster Award

Crystal Lake Toastmasters Club No. 2724 is proud to announce that Joan Walton has earned the prestigious Distinguished Toastmaster Award from Toastmasters International. As a Distinguished Toastmaster, Walton wrote and delivered well over 40 speeches, served in several officer roles in the club, served as an area director in District 30 and mentored several clubs.

In addition to the requirements for the Distinguished Toastmaster Award, Walton has competed and won several speech contests and mentored many new members of Crystal Lake Toastmasters.

The club wishes to thank Walton for her commitment and persistence that lead to this prestigious award.

Meetings are held on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays of each month at Exemplar Financial Network, 413 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The meetings are 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on the first and fifth Saturdays of the month, and 8:30 to 10:45 a.m. on the third Saturdays. The next meetings will be Jan. 18 and Feb. 1. There will be no meeting Jan. 4.
