Nov. 14: Experience CLC in person at Open House

The College of Lake County's Open House, designed to help students build their futures, takes place Thursday, Nov. 14 from 5-7 p.m. at the Grayslake, Lakeshore (Waukegan) and Southlake (Vernon Hills) Campuses. Enroll in courses or come for a visit to experience what CLC is like.

Besides experiencing each campus, participants can apply for admission, register for classes and speak directly with advisors and counselors on-site at the Open House. Information sessions will cover paying for college, getting started at CLC and transfer planning, including CLC's Guaranteed Transfer Admission program with 31 partner institutions. Additionally, attendees can speak directly to current CLC students and alumni about their experiences.

"The Open House is an awesome opportunity for students and their families, as well as working adults looking to upgrade skills or find a new career," said Jason Sarna, director of admissions and recruitment. "You can ask specific questions about programs directly to faculty or walk around and experience what advantages CLC has to offer all students, such as personalized attention, award-winning faculty, guaranteed transfer agreements and more."
