Carmel Catholic High School female-only engineering event attracts 100 aspiring young engineers

On Saturday, Dec. 8, Carmel Catholic High School's "Fem in STEM," an all-female science, technology, engineering, and math club, put together a day of technical activities for second- through eighth-grade girls interested in STEM.

Approximately 100 young women were led through building activities, coding, lectures about astronomy, and tours of the school's engineering room.
