Future Business Leaders Association at Frassati Catholic Academy

Friday, January 8, 2016, Frassati Catholic Academy (Frassati) in Wauconda, inducted 12 students into the Frassati Middle-Level Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), at their First Annual FBLA Induction Ceremony. The ceremony was held at JJ Twiggs, a local establishment in Wauconda.

The 2015-2016 officers were sworn in and the founding members were inducted into the chapter. Local FBLA high school officers were in attendance to support, encourage and network with the Frassati chapter members.

Frassati Catholic Academy is a regional Catholic middle school of the Catholic Consortium of Lake County and the Archdiocese of Chicago, serving 6th -8th grade.

At Frassati, students reach for the heights and strive to raise up the next generation of heroes and servants who love God and respect the people and things He created. With this mindset, the FBLA club is the perfect fit for Consortium students to start reaching for the stars in, around and outside of their communities.

FBLA is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) education association with a quarter million students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. FBLA is the largest business career student organization in the world. The high school division has 215,000 members while the post-secondary division reaches over 11,000 college students. The newest group, FBLA Middle-Level, is growing rapidly with over 20,000 student members. Frassati Catholic Academy has the distinction of being the first, and currently only, FBLA junior high chapter in all of Northern Illinois.
