St. Francis rolls at Batavia

Molly Haggerty had 6 kills in No. 1 St. Francis' 25-7, 25-14 win at Batavia on Wednesday. Lisa Mordell added 12 service points and 3 aces and Sam Dubiel 11 digs and 3 aces for the Spartans (1-1).

Montini d. Westmont:

Joyce Balash and Monica Loftus each put down 7 kills, and the Broncos rolled 25-11, 25-16 to improve to 6-0 on the season. Bridget Lucas added 12 digs.

IC Catholic Prep d. Mt. Assisi:

Kimmy Martino had 22 digs, 8 digs and 2 aces, Delaney D'Amore 10 kills, 9 digs and 3 aces and the No. 20 Knights (2-0) eased to a 25-21, 25-21 win. Rory Manion contributed 7 kills and Hannah Hartnett 4.

Neuqua Valley d. Plainfield Central:

Kaylyn Hugdahl had 10 kills in Neuqua's 25-14, 25-19 win. Brenna Dunckel chipped in 5 kills, Lucy Kopchak 15 assists and Jessica Mitchell 8 digs for the Wildcats (3-5).

Willowbrook d. Glenbard North:

The Warriors went three games to win their season opener 25-22, 19-25, 25-21. Mia Railing had 9 kills and Michelle Herz and Jamie Chiappetta 6 each for Willowbrook. Joanna Conley added 12 digs and Kelsey Linnig 16 assists.
