Bowling event to help forensics team

McHenry County College's Forensics Team will host a bowling fundraiser from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, at Brunswick Zone, 1611 S. Randall Road in Algonquin.

The event will feature two hours of unlimited bowling for $15 per person or $100 per lane for up to seven people, including shoes. MCC Forensics is an award-winning speech team focusing on performance of literature, platform speaking, and debate. Proceeds will go toward the speech team's trip to the national tournament in April in Greenwich, Conn.

Sign up in person at the MCC Student Life office, Room A252, by Sept. 27 to receive a one-topping pizza and a pitcher of soda for your lane.
