CLC hosting art exhibit:

College of Lake County in Grayslake will launch a free art exhibit Jan. 13 that runs through Feb. 19. It’ll feature a diverse collection of 101 art works by artist members of the Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art. The exhibit will kick off with a reception for the artists from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 13 in the gallery on CLC’s main campus at 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake. The opening night reception, which is free and open to the public, will include refreshments and musical entertainment by Vladimir Schifrin on piano. Hours for the exhibit will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The gallery will be closed Jan. 14-16 for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
