Western Illinois in University Center:

Macomb-based Western Illinois University has become the 19th member of University Center of Lake County. Western will offer doctoral and education specialist programs in educational leadership at the facility on the grounds of College of Lake County in Grayslake. “We’re always pleased when another public institution is able to join us in helping to meet Lake County’s educational needs,” said G. Gary Grace, executive director and dean of University Center. Affiliation with University Center will enable Western to link via videoconferencing two small cohorts of students already enrolled in the doctoral program and studying in Moline and Palatine. University Center’s other members include DePaul University, Eastern Illinois University, Illinois State University, Northeastern Illinois University, Northern Illinois University, Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and the flagship University of Illinois. For information, contact University Center at (847) 665-4000 or visit ucenter.org.
