Drain tile workshop
Drain tiles put in place decades ago by the agricultural community have presented a challenge to farmers, developers and property owners. A workshop focusing on drainage history, regulations, and other aspects of drain tiles will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, March 22, at the College of Lake County, Building C, in Grayslake. Cost is $10 per person and includes a continental breakfast. The event is sponsored by the Lake County Farm Bureau and Lake County Stormwater Management Commission.
