CLC art exhibition

An exhibition featuring a diverse collection of artwork by a record number of artist members of the Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art will open at College of Lake County on Friday, Jan. 14, and run through Feb. 20.

The exhibit will kick off with a reception for the artists from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 14 in the gallery on CLC's main campus in Grayslake at 19351 W. Washington St.

The opening night reception, which is free and open to the public, will include refreshments and musical entertainment by the Angela Walker Duo. During the reception, gift items in ARTcetera, the gallery's sales shop, will be discounted 10 percent.

Members of the Friends of the Gallery will receive a total of 20 percent off items purchased during the reception.

The gallery is free and open to the public. Hours for the exhibit are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The gallery will be closed Jan. 15 to 17 for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
