Anderson will lead CLC board

Richard Anderson of Grayslake has been tabbed by his colleagues as College of Lake County’s new board chairman. The elected officials earlier this week handled the board’s annual reorganization. Anderson replaces William Griffin of Lake Forest as chairman. Griffin was selected by fellow board members to serve as vice chairman. Trustee Amanda Howland of Lake Zurich will be board secretary. Anderson was first elected to the board of Grayslake-based CLC in 1974 while attending the school as a full-time student. Griffin was first elected to the CLC board of trustees in 1995. Howland was elected to the board in 2009.
