State University Transfer Day to be Held March 15

College of DuPage will host the State University Transfer Day from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, in the Student Resource Center second floor walkway.

Representatives from all 12 Illinois state universities will speak with students and community members during this free event. COD graduates with associate's degrees and students working on their degrees will learn about transfer opportunities, while prospective students can find out how earning a degree at COD can help them transfer easily to a state university.

“This is a great opportunity to learn how your COD associate's degree can give you the perfect start toward a bachelor's degree,” said Jill Davis, College Transfer coordinator at College of DuPage.

Participating schools are Chicago State University, Eastern Illinois University, Governors State University, Illinois State University, Northeastern Illinois University, Northern Illinois University, Southern Illinois University – Carbondale, Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville, University of Illinois – Chicago, University of Illinois – Springfield, University of Illinois – Urbana/Champaign, and Western Illinois University.

The SRC second floor walkway is located near the entrance to the COD Library.
