MCC offers refresher math classes

McHenry County College will offer free math refresher courses throughout the spring 2012 semester for new and prospective MCC students. The purpose of the courses are to review concepts from Elementary Algebra and Intermediate Algebra for students who either want to prepare for the COMPASS placement exam or review concepts before taking a subsequent course.

The Elementary Algebra (MAT 095) upcoming review sessions are: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, part I and II, Room A226; and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, part I, Room B168/169; and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, part II, Room B168-169.

The Intermediate Algebra (MAT 099) review sessions are: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, part I, Room B168-169; 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, part II, Room B168-169; 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, part I, Room B168-169; and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, part II, Room B168-169.

Registration is not required. Participants can sign in upon arrival.
