Maternal health presentation at CLC

In honor of Mother’s Day, the American Refugee Committee will have presentations Wednesday and Thursday at College of Lake County in Grayslake on global maternal health. Officials said the first gathering is 7 to 8:45 p.m. in the C-Wing auditorium in room C005. Thursday’s second session is set for 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. in the Studio Theater at the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts. The talks on global maternal health will focus on developing countries and are free to all who attend. CLC’s Gender and Sexuality Studies Department is co-sponsoring the presentations. American Refugee Committee is a Midwest-based international organization hosting relief programs around the world.
