Montessori Academy of Glen Ellyn holds a remote Art Fair
The Montessori Academy of Glen Ellyn is a preschool, primary, elementary and middle school with a mission to create a community of children, parents, and educators dedicated to assisting each student develop to his or her fullest potential, and a vision to continue to be the educational model of choice within the communities they serve.
Recently, as part of honoring Earth Day, the students were given the opportunity to create a work of art using recyclable materials. The assignment was called "MAGE Upcycled Art Fair."
They were asked to: "Please create an original artwork made of materials you find at home. You can create a drawing, painting, sculpture or structure out of recyclable materials. It can be functional or just fun!"
