Get ready to rock at '80s Night Out' at CLC

Ladies can crimp their hair and put on those stirrup pants and shoulder pads while gentlemen don their Members Only jackets to relive rock and pop hits of the 1980s in "80s Night Out," a retro rock concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at the College of Lake County.

The performance takes place in the Mainstage Theatre of James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts on CLC's Grayslake Campus.

Powerhouse vocalists include Lisa Rock, headliner of the national '70s retro touring show "Close to You: The Music of The Carpenters." Sharing the stage is Melissa Minyard of Broadway's original production of "Les Misérables." Together, they front a four-piece band to bring favorite '80s songs back to life.

Travel back in time to dance and sing along to favorites such as Irene Cara's "Flashdance (What a Feeling)," Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know," Pat Benatar's "Love is a Battlefield" and many more.

For more information on the band, visit 80snightout.com.

Tickets are $30 for adults; $29 for seniors, CLC staff and alumni; and $15 for students and teens. Prices do not include an additional $2 per ticket facility fee.
