March 26: Interactive art and music experience of Artrageous comes to James Lumber Center

Artrageous, an interactive combination of art studio, rock concert and creation lab, comes to the College of Lake County at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26. The performance takes place in the Mainstage Theatre of James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts on CLC's Grayslake Campus.

Experience the thrill of witnessing the painting of giant masterpieces while audience members join in a communal challenge to guess the artistic creation. The Artrageous artists use bold colors with hands and brushes - inspired by the troupe's vocalists, musicians and dancers - racing to complete the paintings before the last note. The culmination is a live performance gallery of fabulous finished paintings.

Artrageous delivers a high-energy combination of fine art, live music, singing, dancing, humor and interaction in a frenzy of movement and color. The troupe pays tribute to a variety of art forms, pop icons and musical. The result? A one-of-a-kind crossover experience.

The signature of Artrageous is interaction and engagement, so be prepared to be a part of the show. Based in New Mexico, the 12-member troupe has toured across the U.S. For more information, visit www.artrageousexperience.com.
