Dogs helping CLC students
Trained therapy dogs have been visiting the College of Lake County’s library at its flagship Grayslake campus in an effort to provide much-needed stress relief for students. The dogs will return to the library’s second floor at 10:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Monday and Thursday. Officials expect the canines to again get lots of attention from students. The dogs will be on hand for one hour each time. CLC’s librarians got the idea from Holly Ledvina, a peer at South Dakota’s Augustana College.
