Oil painter depicts Polish immigration at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park

Lakeside Legacy Arts Park welcomes oil painter Danuta Loane to the August 3rd First Friday gallery exhibit. Loane is a resident of West Dundee, IL and is exhibiting paintings depicting the immigration of her family from Poland. All of the work will show the original photograph of which the paintings are derived along with a brief description. Some of her pieces are titled as follows: Any Minute Now, American Dream, Borrowed Existence, From This Day Forward, A New Beginning, and Post Wedding Bliss. Loane “paints people and places that have left impressions on [her] soul.” Meet Danuta, view two other art exhibits at the free event August 3rd First Friday event from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Origami, face painting, coloring and other crafts will be available. Other artists featured are Creative Artistry School of Fine Art, Patricia Bell and her “Make a Wish” installation, Martin Lopez and 4 Strings Attached, and jazz pianist Scott Tarson. Loane's work, as well as all the other exhibits featured, will be viewable for the entire month of August, 9am-5pm. Lakeside Legacy Arts Park is located at 401 Country Club Road.
