CLC offering orientation sessions

Grayslake-based College of Lake County will offer parents of incoming freshmen three opportunities to attend such an orientation session. Called “Helping Your Child Succeed at CLC,” the sessions will be on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Parents may choose from sessions on May 31, June 28 or July 26. All sessions will be held at the CLC Grayslake campus, 19351 W. Washington Street. The sessions will be led by CLC representatives from the counseling, advising and transfer center; admissions; financial aid; new student orientation/first year experience and student development. Break-out sessions will cover the transition to college, transfer options to four-year colleges and financial aid. The orientation will also include a campus tour and information about academic support services, the student empowerment center, student activities, library, office for students with disabilities, tutoring and more.To register for a parent orientation session, visit clcillinois.edu/parentday or call (847) 543-2045.
