Island Lake craft event
The Island Lake parks and recreation department will host its second annual Converse Park Spring Craft Faire on Saturday. It will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park, which is on Route 176 near Greenleaf Avenue. Gourmet foods, jewelry, baby items, and blankets are among the items that will be for sale. A band will play from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., too. Limited craft or vendor space still is available. For more information, call (847) 526-4851.
