MPTV Showcase 2012 to Turn Spotlight on Students April 26

The Motion Picture/Television program at College of DuPage will present the MPTV Showcase 2012 at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, at the McAninch Arts Center, Room 175.

The annual event is a celebration of beginner and advanced student work in a variety of areas, including documentary, music video, narrative short, traditional animation, stop-motion animation and 3-D computer-generated animation. Glenn Glinke, lab manager/program specialist for the MPTV program, said the event is open to all students who created work for an MPTV course during the past 12 months.

“We judge the student entries in the various areas, with the top selection from each category screened during the upcoming showcase,” he said. “Our goal is to highlight the accomplishments of our students, who continually produce impressive work.”

Admission is free. For more information, call (630) 942-2162 or email glinkeg@cod.edu.
