Submitted by McHenry County College
Begin your holiday season in America’s Music Cities of Branson, Memphis and Nashville with an extended trip offered by McHenry County College’s “Trips and Tours” program Dec. 2-9.
The trip features two holiday shows in Branson, including an evening with Ireland’s favorite son Daniel O’Donnell and special guest Mary Duff, Ireland’s top female vocalist for a blend of Irish ballads, holiday favorites and traditional gospel classics. Plus, enjoy an evening of entertainment and horsemanship with the “Celebrate a Christmas Tradition” show at Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede.
Visitors will spend two nights at the newly-remodeled Opryland Resort and enjoy reserved seating at The Grand Ole Opry. Other activities include a visit to the Titanic Museum, a narrated tour of Memphis including the early homes of the Presley’s, BB King and Johnny Cash, a visit to Elvis’ 14-acre estate in Graceland and a guided tour of Nashville. Another highlight is a narrated tour of St. Louis, including the Gateway Arch and Museum of Western Expansion.
The eight-day trip consists of round trip air, transfers and 10 meals, six breakfasts and four dinners. Cost per person is $2,109 for double, $2,095 for triple, and $2,708 for single.
