Learn how to tame a toxic co-worker

Submitted by McHenry County College

You have all worked with someone who makes the job impossible, but it doesn’t have to be that way. “Working with You is Killing Me” is a conflict resolution program, based on the best-selling book by psychotherapist Katherine Crowley and business consultant Kathi Elster. The course is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 22, at the Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane in McHenry.

If you find yourself frustrated with a colleague whose incompetence is driving you crazy, a boss who gets angry when you’re not a mind reader, or an employee who challenges your authority, chances are you’re caught in an emotional trap at your job, the solution is simple: take control of your own response.

The course teaches employees and managers how to tame a toxic co-worker by setting boundaries.

The benefits of this course include: helps people deal with difficult co-workers through mutual cooperation; reduces stress-related issues arising from work relationships; improves interpersonal relations and understanding of boundaries.

This course is course ID NTL C23 003.

The fee for this course is $99.
