College of DuPage Hosts Car Show April 22

The College of DuPage Latino Ethnic Awareness Association will host a car show featuring a variety of classic, hot rods, muscle cars, race cars, motorcycles and trucks beginning at 8 a.m. Sunday, April 22, in Fawell lots C and D on the north side of the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

Presented in conjunction with StreetStyle Car Club, the event features prizes in 15 categories with additional awards for Best Overall Show, People's Choice and Club Choice. The awards ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m.

Registration for show participants is from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Entry fees are $20 in advance and $25 on event day.

Proceeds from the car show will help fund scholarship opportunities and conference experiences for Latino students.
