CLC bomb threat:

The College of Lake County’s Lakeshore Campus in Waukegan was evacuated and closed for several hours Thursday following three bomb threats phoned into police, officials said. Evelyn Schiele, CLC’s executive director of public relations and marketing, said no bomb was discovered at any of the three college buildings at 1 North, 33 North, and 111 North Genessee St. and the campus reopened at 2 p.m. The first threat was phoned into Waukegan Police at 1 a.m. and was determined that it wasn’t credible. The facility was evacuated and closed after two other threats were called in between 7:02 and 7:14 a.m. Police from Waukegan and the college visually checked the three buildings before bomb dogs were brought in for a more thorough sweep. All other CLC campuses remained open and were unaffected, Schiele said.
