Learn about 'Brain Nutrition' at College of Lake County

Dr. Jeremy Fritz will present the first topic in his parent lecture series, “Brain Nutrition 101,” at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 11, at the College of Lake County in Vernon Hills. This lecture will explore the relationship between the brain and the gut and what happens when the brain becomes imbalanced.

Fritz will discuss how the brain directs the immune system and what happens when the brain becomes imbalanced. A basic understanding of appropriate nutrition for the brain will be outlined. Fritz will also review the concepts of Functional Disconnection Syndrome and the role of nutrition in helping your child's brain imbalance.

Dr. Jeremy Fritz is a functional medicine practitioner with an emphasis in childhood neurobehavioral and developmental disorders. He is a board eligible chiropractic neurologist with the American Chiropractic Neurology board and certified as a clinical nutritionist. He is the executive director of the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Vernon Hills.
