38th annual senior exposition

Senior expo coming to CLC:

The College of Lake County's Grayslake campus will be the site for the 38th annual senior exposition from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3. The expo is sponsored by the Lake County Council for Seniors in partnership with the college. The expo will offer a menu of 30 workshops on a variety of topics, as well as lunch, exhibitors, entertainment, bingo, raffles and a marketplace featuring 13 vendors. The expo's 1950s theme is “Happy Days.” Entertainment includes the “Don & Susan Reitsma Rock & Roll Show” and a “Dancing by the Ages” program. Jerry Boothe of WKRS-AM will broadcast live from the event.
