Finance award for CLC

For the 10th year in a row, the College of Lake County has received a national finance award. CLC has snagged the certificate of excellence in financial reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada. CLC President Jerry Weber announced the recognition during his report to the board of trustees at a recent board meeting. “This award is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting,” Weber said. The award was presented to David Agazzi, CLC vice president of administrative affairs, in his role leading the college’s financial areas. “In the financial world, this award is considered the benchmark of well-managed finances,” Agazzi said.
