'Sleep' at COD's Wings Gallery through July 6

A collection of works by art students will be on display through Wednesday,July 6, in the Wings Student Gallery in the Student Resource Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.

“Sleep” is a collection of work by nine art students representing the vast theme of sleep. The pieces explore dream consciousness, insomnia and the human need for sleep using line, medium and color palette.

Participating artists include Michelle Callahan, John Hankiewicz, Kathryn Wolske, Sacario Aguilera and Jessica Rojas. Faculty adviser for the exhibition is Alex Herzog.

The gallery is open noon to 12:45 p.m. and 4 to 7:15 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays; 2 to 7 p.m. Thursdays; and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays.
